§ 1.

Definitions. For the purposes of this Act: "Governmental unit" means the State of Illinois, any State agency as defined in Section 1-15.100 of the Illinois Procurement Code, officers of the State of Illinois, any public authority which has the power to tax, or any other public entity created by statute. "Master contract" means a definite quantity or indefinite quantity contract awarded pursuant to this Act against which subsequent orders may be placed to meet the needs of a governmental unit or qualified not-for-profit agency. "Multiple award" means an award that is made to 2 or more bidders or offerors for similar supplies or services. (Source: P.A. 100-43, eff. 8-9-17; 100-863, eff. 8-14-18.)
