§ 22-201.
Creation of fund. In each city, village and incorporated town, whose population exceeds 50,000 and having a paid fire insurance patrol, boards of underwriters may create a pension fund, in the manner prescribed in this Division, for the benefit of disabled or retired fire insurance patrolmen, and of the widows and children of deceased patrolmen.
