§ 45-35.

Unlicensed practice. (a) If any unlicensed person engages in activities requiring licensure under this Act, the Secretary may, in the name of the people of the State of Illinois, through the Attorney General of the State of Illinois, or through the State's Attorney of any county, petition for a court order enjoining such activities. (b) If it is established that such person has violated the order the court may punish the offender for contempt of court. Proceedings under this Section shall be in addition to, and not in lieu of, all other remedies and penalties provided under this Act. Any unlicensed person who engages in activities requiring licensure under this Act commits a Class A misdemeanor. (Source: P.A. 88-80; 89-507, eff. 7-1-97.)
