§ 9-177.

Additional contributions for widow's annuity for widows of present employees, future entrants and re-entrants. In addition to the contributions to be made by each employee and by the county for widow's annuity as herein provided additional contributions shall be made as follows: (a) Beginning September 1, 1935, 1% of each payment of salary, not in excess of $3,000 a year, of each present employee described in subdivision (b) of Section 9-109, and of each future entrant and re-entrant described in subdivision (d) or (e) of Section 9-110. (b) Concurrently with each deduction from salary, the county shall contribute a sum equal to 1 3/4% of each payment of salary, not in excess of $3,000 a year. (Source: P.A. 90-655, eff. 7-30-98.)
