§ 517.271.

Notwithstanding section 517.22 of the Revised Code , the company, association, or religious society that most recently owned and operated

a cemetery currently owned by a board of township trustees may petition the probate

court of the county in which the cemetery is located to transfer the ownership of

the cemetery to the petitioner. If the court determines that the petitioner has met all of the following conditions,

the court shall transfer the ownership of the cemetery to the petitioner and shall

order the board and county recorder to give the petitioner all necessary records and

documents concerning the cemetery, including records of the board's sale of any lots

pursuant to section 517.07 of the Revised Code : (A) The petitioner has the financial resources necessary to operate and maintain the

cemetery; (B) The petitioner is in compliance with all applicable laws and administrative rules

concerning the owners and operators of cemeteries, including registration under section 4767.02 of the Revised Code ;  and (C) The petitioner owes no delinquent taxes.
