§ SD.3831.110. PROGRAMS

PROGRAMS. (a) The district may establish and provide for the administration of one or more programs to: (1) promote state or local economic development; and (2) stimulate business and commercial activity in the district that relates to a project. (b) As part of a program, the district may: (1) make loans or grants of public money for a public purpose as provided by Section 52-a , Article III, Texas Constitution; or (2) provide district personnel and services for the program. (c) The district may contract with any person to administer a program established under this section. Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019 ), Sec. 1.03, eff. April 1, 2007.
